6 giorni 5 notti da Napoli a Bari

Description

The tour begins with departure from Naples, where you can visit the historic center by strolling along the city's main streets and stop at the place of worship connected to Padre Dolindo Ruotolo, located at the Church of San Giuseppe dei Vecchi and Immacolata di Lourdes, which houses his remains. Here, you can take a moment for prayer and reflection. In the afternoon, you might head to Pompeii to visit the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary, an important Marian devotional site. After the visit, Pietrelcina awaits, the birthplace of Padre Pio, where you can admire his childhood home, the Chapel of Sant'Anna, and stroll through the places connected to his early life. Next, as you head towards San Giovanni Rotondo, you will have the chance to visit the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, the new church designed by Renzo Piano, and the place where Padre Pio’s remains rest. The tour includes a stop at the Sanctuary of St. Michael the Archangel, one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in Europe, before continuing to Alberobello to admire the famous trulli, the sanctuary, and the Capuchin convent. Continuing on, you will reach Matera, where you can explore the Sassi, a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient dwellings carved into the rock and fascinating rock-hewn churches. Your tour concludes in Bari, with a visit to the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, one of the city's most important places of worship, and a stroll through the historic center before heading to the airport for departure.
